The trio was formed in 2010 with the mission to explore modern jazz from the greats such as Bill Frizell, Pat Metheny and Brad Mehldau whilst twisting it with progressive music by Tortoise and Mogwai.
The band is:-
Dan Messore on guitar
Aidan Thorne on double bass
Gethin Jones on drums
They bring this thirst for exploration when performing classic jazz tunes from the great American songbook.
The Coltrane Dedication is a quintet of musicians who recognise the emotional power of the later music of John Coltrane and use those compositions as their own springboard for creating a powerful, engaging, passionate communication through improvised music.

Llandjango is a Welsh gypsy jazz group, hailing mostly from Ceredigion. They are renowned for blending French Hot Club sounds with Roma, ragtime, and swing. The band are:-

We’re now taking a winter break and are due to return on Sunday 15th February with Llandjango, Ceredigion’s answer to the gypsy jazz of Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelly.

Pianist Ross Hicks leads a trio completed by bassist Nick Kacal, now based in Cardiff after a couple of decades on the London scene, and drummer Ryan Thrupp, fellow graduate of the Welsh College of Music and Drama with Hicks.
This band is fast making a name beyond Cardiff, enhanced by the recent release of their first album, Three Elms. Ross shows his precocious talent from the getgo, forever encouraging his band to deliver, together, sumptuous music for which Sunday afternoons were surely designed.
